Gahabandha Sadar Upazila 10 Gagua union is a poverty union, but the chairman of this union Mr. Md. Aminur Zaman Rink, family planning director, Gaibandha poll was awarded two best chemans for two consecutive terms. This union is flooded near the Brahmaputra river and is flooded every year due to the severe flooding. Nevertheless, the present chairman has developed a unique development of the services including roads, sanitation, safe drinking water, education, health, information, agriculture, safety and security of the Union under the public cooperation and self-effort.
